Locul perfect pentru o experienta autentica si de calitate. Casele, desi renovate si utilate( inclusiv cu un espressor de calitate), pastreaza aerul gospodariilor oltenesti traditionale. Cosmina si Bogdan sunt niste gazde extraordinare, ne-au pregatit in fiecare seara mancaruri delicioase cu produse proaspete de la localnicii din sat. Zona este foarte potrivita pentru plimbari in padure( unde gasiti mure la tot pasul), plimbari cu bicicletele sau pur si simplu pentru lenevit in hamacele din poiana aflata in spatele caselor.

Lovely place where tradition meets comfort

Bogdan and Cosmina are the best possible hosts, and what they offer is not only a house in the mountains, but an experience: it's like you're in great-great-grandma's house, with all today's amenities, and with her respect for tradition and food (best-tasting local ingredients, made by Cosmina into traditional dishes with a touch of modern cuisine) . Their attention to detail and love for heritage makes the home into something you nowadays only see in museums and documentaries. I sincerely recommend this experience!

Amazing place for a quiet and relaxing experience in the mountains

The location is awesome. Accessible by car, but very quiet. The forest is accessible by foot in a couple of minutes. The houses are very nicely renovated and have kept all their charm and character. The garden is fantastic. And the hosts are incredible, friendly, and cook awesome food with local încredinents. This is a place where you can relax an entire day in the garden enjoying the fresh air, or relax after a mountain trip.

Recently renovated place to discover

Our initial plan was to stay two nights at Potecarii but we fell in love with the place and extended our stay to five nights. The house is a delight, recently renovated, you feel like going back in time and the furniture could be easily placed in a museum. Nevertheless, the house has all the modern equipment in the kitchen and bathrooms and a nice garden with hamacs and chill out area to watch a beautiful sunset. The owners are very welcoming, always at reach for advice with activities to do in the area and support for the house while giving guests their space alone with the house. They arranged for locally made delicious food! I am looking forward for the next opportunity to go back.
