Away from all hassle of big city lights and traditional tourist areas, you will find ATRA Doftana, a peacefull place with unspoilt nature, rolling hills around and the Paltinu lake mirrors undisturbe the blue-green infinity.
Feel
Located right on Paltinu Lake, in the Doftana Valley, this unique boarding house has spacious rooms with private terraces and beautiful panorama of the lake and mountains, complemented by a outdoor lounge area, a generous leisure space on the lake shore and playground.

While staying with us you can enjoy outdoor activities like mountain biking, kayak, off road, 3-hour guided hike with picnic on the mountains peak, guided mushroom foraging, campfire with local cheeses tasting, visiting traditional sheep pen and fishing.

We are invining you on a culinary jouney that blends regional flavors in a unique fine dining experiencet that matches the enire location. Our Gourmet restaurant features a fine dining menu with Romanian identity, based on freshest local products, sourced from our own garden and small farmers in the area, all paired with a large Romanian wine list, selected from the best wineries.

Restaurant operating hours
- Breakfast: 8.30 - 10.30
- Lunch: 13:00 - 17:00
- Dinner: 19:00 - 21:00
Terms and conditions
- The day of accommodation starts at 14.00 for Atra rooms and ends at 12.00 (check-out);
- Reception program: 09.00 - 18.00;
- Self check-in if you will arrive between 18.00 and 24.00 - the key will be found at the reception in an envelope with instructions, restaurant schedule and a telephone number of the contact person.
For the weekend (Friday and Saturday we will organize a „Fine dining & wine pairing weekend by Mastercard” at the special rate of 3190 Ron/weekend)!
Rate includes:
- breakfast;
- a gourmet dinner on Friday;
- a fine dining/tasting menu with wine pairing (5 dishes) on Saturday;
- campfire with cheese tasting on Saturday.
