If you have an accommodation that you want to rent out both by subunits and in its entirety, you have 2 options:
- you create 2 separate main listings, one with Entirely Layout and one with By Units Layout;
- you create a single main listing with By Units Layout and add an additional secondary listing alongside the relevant secondary listings (rooms and other sub units), which will consist of the unit rented in its entirety.
Create 2 separate main listings, one with Entirely Layout and one with By Units Layout, with no connection between them.
- this option is the most recommended, as you will be able to take advantage of the benefits of the Entirely rental layout, which is much more efficient in terms of conversion (the booking process is shorter, availability is displayed in advance, etc.).
- note that you will need to manage the calendars in such a way that you do not have overlapping reservations between the room listings and the entire rental listing. For example, you can close all room listings for weekends and close all entire rental listings for weekdays.
Create a single main listing with more sublistings (rooms and entirely) using By Units Layout.
- in this case, you will need to add all the rental units of the complex as sub-listings (in Rooms Manager), plus an additional unit consisting of the entire rental.
- this option is easier to list and manage, but less efficient in terms of conversion rate.
- in this case too, you will need to ensure that you do not have duplicate reservations between the entire rental listing and the other secondary units.
