Tucked within the breathtaking Făgăraș mountains, at an elevation of 1248 m, lies a hidden gem – Valea Vladului Chalet.
Recently inaugurated, the chalet manages to blend in with the raw nature surrounding it. Once an old forestry cabin, it now stands as a testament to sustainable design, built from eco-friendly materials.
Whether you seek solitude, adventure, or simply a serene getaway, this cosy mountain chalet promises an unforgettable experience.
Welcome to Valea Vladului Chalet
Enjoy the calm of the valley, surrounded by wild landscapes and refreshing mountain air.
Welcoming groups of up to 14, comfort greets you at every turn within our chalet. Enjoy a peaceful sleep on beds dressed in Yumeko’s certified organic bedding.
With two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining space, we’ve thoughtfully tended to every detail for your cosy, rustic getaway. In the evenings, you can gather around the fireplace in the heart of the chalet.
Unplug and engage with your companions in the soothing glow of the fire, perhaps while enjoying one of the many board games we have waiting for guests to pick up – a perfect way to share moments of laughter and connection.
Each room has its own wood-burning stove for warmth, enhancing the rustic ambiance.
The chalet is equipped with renewable electricity for your convenience, however, due to its secluded location, there is no cell phone coverage or internet connection – a blessing in disguise that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the serenity of nature and the cherished company of your fellow adventurers.
Tailored experiences
Beyond the awe-inspiring landscapes, we provide more than just a place to stay.
On request, you can engage in curated workshops, guided hikes, and nature-focused activities in partnership with experts from Foundation Conservation Carpathia as well as our own specialised ecotourism guides.
As of 2025, we will have several small wildlife hides in the surrounding, where you can experience the wilderness and its wildlife from the safety of a hide.
