Description

Loft Chalet is a 100+ years old barn house converted to a 5 bedrooms, 6 baths, a kitchen and 2 living rooms building, with a generous garden, fire pit and barbecue pavilion.

It can host up to 10 adults and 6 children under 14 years. It has access to the main road from Gura Humorului to Humor Monastery but in the same time it's close to nature: the nearby hills, a lovely forest and a small water stream.

You can explore the surroundings by hiking, biking or with your eyes, just sitting on the chalet's patio.

Space

The chalet has a generous surface of 360 square meters set on two levels. On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms with en suite baths, the double height living room with dining space and a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook about anything your inner chef would like.

On the second floor you will find another bedroom with its private bath, an apartment with an extra room for children and the 2nd living room where you can enjoy a relaxing sofa, books and a nice view over the chandelier.

The fireplace is actually outside the chalet: we have a fire pit! It is surrounded by wooden benches that can be moved closer or farther from the fire, depending on how big the fire is or how warm you want to feel.

We do have a small brick stove in the kitchen so you can also have a fire indoor. Of course there is also the barbecue pavilion where you can enjoy the view and the outdoor dining space.

Sitting on the chalet's patio you can sometimes spot wild deer or cows grazing on the nearby hill. It is also a great place for bird watching, we have seen falcons, sparrows, owls and even eagles.

Activities

It is a good base point to visit the painted monasteries in Bucovina (1.8 km to Humor Monastery, 9 km to Voronet Monastery, ).

Fortress of Suceava is at 41 km and if you have this on your list you can also visit Dragomirna monastery.

Moldovita monastery is at 38km and we also recommend the Painted Eggs Museum close by.

There are ski slopes nearby (Șoimul 8km, Rarău 37 km) for those ski and snowboarding enthusiasts. We also have sleds for the little ones that you can use in the chalet's garden in winter.

In summer there are a lot of mountain tracks for hiking and if you want we can recommend a friend to guide you to the best tracks with the best views. We have some bikes that you can ride to explore the village and surroundings.

Last but not least Loft Chalet is the place for you to relax and charge your batteries, to develop and maintain your positive energy. We encourage meditation, reading, nowness and clearing one's mind to get perspective. And of course lots of rest. Looking forward to meeting you!
