Description
The Lazar guesthouse is a traditional Szekler Hungarian wooden house in 1941 in Siclod, a small Szekler Hungarian village established around 1241-1254. The house was used only a few occasions for living in it, so the house needed very little restoration work.
Our guests can enjoy one of the last Transylvanian - Szekler Hungarian rural lifestyle, that truly gives a time-traveler feeling, but with the comfort of the 21st century. SIKLOD where nature is your neighbor and tradition is your host!
Siklod is the place where time stood place. In this unique village you can discover our Lazar guesthouse, which is perfect for small family and friend reunions it is a perfect hideaway for birdwatching, hiking and mountainbiking, nature observation. You will be far away from any nearby city.
At our house you no have Mobile Signal,but we have Wifi so you will have enough time to rediscover friendship, love, relationship and even the reason of life.
You can use the entire house and garden. Please do not park in the garden.
Other things to note
- We have WIFI. No GSM signal - only on the hilltops.
- You will find a still functional wooden toilet near the barn. :)
- You can have a shot of Pálinka spirit hidden in the kitchen cabinet. One shot is great, two shot is awesome, more will make you drunk. :)
- No asphalted roads to Siclod.
