Description
Located in between Viscri and Sighisoara and founded by a Flemish community in the XIII century, Crit Village is home to many myths, mysteries, romance and stories that we will be happy to share with you siting in the old barn with a glass of our famous fruit liqueur or elderflower syrup.
Lovers of culture, nature, local food and traditions will be amazed by the variety of events being held in the village.

If you are looking to experience the authentic Transylvanian lifestyle surrounded by incredible natural virgin sites and free from the urban pressure, Convivium Transilvania is the place to visit.
Restored with care and love, keeping the original architectural features and furnished with original items, our property dating from the XVIII century, is the perfect balance between modern comfort and a traditional country house.
Beside the rooms, The Kitchen as we call it, (transformed from the old barn and workshops) is the space were our guests will enjoy our special breakfast. The Shop, a logia that used to be an out side kitchen and is now the perfect place to spend an evening at a glass of wine. The Terrace that gives the best view of the courtyard and the village. The Garden were one can rest on a blanket and just listen to the crickets.
Activities
- Walking around the village, visiting the fortified Evangelique Church and centuries old houses still in use, is an unforgettable experience;
- Lovers of nature can enjoy the surroundings of the village full of virgin fields and forests. Hiking and biking in between the villages is enjoyed by most of our visitors;
- Visit one of the six UNESCO Heritage sites in the region;
- Foodies can book a traditional cooking experience (minimum 4 participants) followed by lunch/dinner;
- For a more complex experience of Transylvania we recommend choosing one of our 4 nights Convivium Transilvania Adventure.
Prices of rooms include special, rich breakfast: homemade cold cuts, local cheeses, eggs, vegetables, our famous jams, preserves and syrups, coffee and tea.
