Description
Conacul Olarilor guesthouse was inaugurated in 2021 and is located in Baia de Fier, Gorj county, in a mountainous area, at an altitude of 700 m.
From the location you have access too hundreds of tourist routes, via-ferrata and climbing as well and other experiences in the middle of nature.
The guesthouse, inspired by neo-Romanian architecture and influenced by peasant houses through ornaments used in various interpretations, invites you to experience a simple but comfortable life.
Conacul Olarilor guesthouse preserves the tradition and the authentic, by carefully reinterpreting traditional symbols. "Potters' Mansion" is a space with personality, perfect for making new friends by the warmth of the fireplace on cold days, or on the outside terrace, from the first warm days until late autumn.
At Conacul Olarilor we set out to keep the tradition, but not to be outdated, to reinterpret traditional symbols, but to be authentic and to reveal things that have not been talked about for a long time. We have taken everything that the old generations have left us, but we want to leave our own mark. We invite you to a place to live many beautiful memories.
Baia de Fier is a town in Gorj County, located in a mountainous area, at 700 m altitude, near some well-known places, such as the Rânca Mountain Resort, the highest road in the country, Transalpina, the Muierilor and Polovragi caves, gorges, monasteries or the stone sculptures of Constantin Brâncuși.
