The space
The village of Urluiesti, Arges county, is known for its picturesque countryside and peaceful atmosphere. The village is surrounded by hills and forests, providing great opportunities for hiking and relaxing in the nature.

1. Curtea de Arges Monastery (~ 15 km, 20m) - an architectural jewel and burial place of many kings and queens of Romania.
2. Văleni Monastery (~15 km, 20m) - a simple and modest place with a fascinating history. Positioned in a special natural setting this is the place next to which Topîrceanu spent part of his childhood, when his mother worked here as a weaver. The nuns weave today, in the old workshop, priestly garments.
3. Poenari Fortress (~ 40 km, 1 hour) - reconstructed by Vlad the Impaler, this fortress offers spectacular views and a historical atmosphere.
4. Vâlsan Falls (~ 25km, 40m) - a scenic waterfall in a wooded area, perfect for light hiking and picnics.
5. Cozia National Park (~ 50 km, 1h30m) - an impressive national park with hiking trails, natural paths and magnificent mountain landscapes.
6. Vidraru Lake and Vidraru Dam (~45 km, 1h15m) - an impressive lake located in a spectacular mountain landscape, ideal for boat cruises and panoramic photos.
7. Polovragi Cave (about 70 km, 1h45m) - a fascinating cave with impressive limestone formations and interesting local legends.
8. Robaia Monastery (about 30 km, 45m) - an old Orthodox monastery, surrounded by nature and tranquility, ideal for meditation and contemplation.
9. Topolog Valley (about 20 km, 30m) - a beautiful natural area with scenic landscapes, hiking paths and places for picnics.
