Description
Casa Traditionala Schiulesti is located in the village of Schiulesti, Izvoarele town, Prahova county, in a foothill settlement of the Curvature Carpathians, crossed by Crasna river. It is the last village before Ursoaia Mountain.
The guesthouse was completely restored in May 2020 and we tried to preserve the spirit of the traditional mountain peasant house but having the indispensable facilities of urban comfort.
It has 2 bedrooms, each of them having white big and very big double beds, kitchen which is fully equipped (fridge, ceramic top cookers, table with chairs, sink, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, sandwich maker), modern bathroom with glass-compartmentalized shower, teakwood sink and a living room which has an extensible couch where one can easily sleep.
Each room can be used independently (no passing). We have drainage and running water, internet, and TVs in each room.
We can host up to 6 guests. Any extra person will be additionally charged.
We have 2 dining areas in the yard with tables and benches. They are located in the paved courtyard and have: barbeque, water fountain, sun awning, wood tables for the terrace, an exterior kitchen with sink, stove, electric oven.
The yard also has a garden and an orchard where you can enjoy the birds singing and Crasna river from the hammock, rocking chair or lawn chair. Here, you also have a table and chairs for dining. Booking the guesthouse includes the orchard space for relaxing. If you are lucky, you can enjoy fruit, depending on the season.
Mountain hikes can be organized, with trails and beautiful scenery.
Crasna Monastery is located 2 km away and can be visited, Slanic Prahova Resort- 4km, Valenii de Munte City- 8 km, Cheia Resort-17 km and Cheia Monastery, Maneciu barrage, Brasov city- 60 km, Suzana Monastery- 15 km. In the summertime you can cool off in the Crasna river- 500 m from the location.
You will certainly experience a great holiday in this positive place drowned by peace and green.
