Do you want a vacation in one of the most beautiful mountain villages in Romania?
We invite you to Casa Cerdac, from Nucsoara, Arges.
Located at the southern foot of the Fagaras massif, in a picturesque mountain village, our cottage is ready to offer you an unforgettable experience.
Traditional architecture, specific to the place, old objects that spread light, warmth and hospitality are some of the ingredients with which we will spice up your vacation.
Casa Cerdac has a large living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
A spacious yard, an idyllic orchard and a superb view will be accompanied by the song of the surrounding nature.
Unlike other more famous tourist destinations in Romania, the commune of Nucșoara is located in a wild, authentic and less commercialized mountain area.
The charm of the piste to keep well, the fact of access to the road right here, we crossed Transylvania.
It is not a transit area, but a secluded area that has preserved its traditions and customs.
Therefore, you can get lost for hours on the streets of the village, admiring a lifestyle that has long been lost in the rest of Europe. Or they can explore the wilderness, reaching the highest peak in Romania, Varful Moldoveanu 2544 m. It is located right on the territory of the commune.
The commune of Nucșoara is also famous for the anti-communist resistance in the mountains, having the heroine Elisabetea Rizea as its main hero. The memorial house is being restored and can be admired from the outside, being right on the main road that goes up to the Nucsoara City Hall.
Also, a few hours of silence on the shore of Lake Invartita can be a real treat. Just 10 km away, you can visit Corbii de Piatra Monastery, a rock complex documented in 1512.
Don't forget, we are only 2 hours from Bucharest, 1 hour from Pitesti, 30 minutes from Curtea de Arges or Campulung. Therefore, the list of tourist attractions can be extended, but we will be happy to provide you with all the information once you do not cross the threshold.
