Located in a small village in Sălaj, Văleni, Casa Catrinei is an agro-pension, modeled after the traditional houses with straw roofs that existed in the area, but with all the comfort of the 21st century.
In a world dominated by stress and agitation, we offer you a place where you can retreat and enjoy the rural beauty, relax in a cottage with with straw roofs, with all the necessary comfort to feel good.
It's a place where you can breathe, where you can find peace and time to recharge yourself with a simple and authentic beauty.
Casa Catrinei guesthouse has five rooms, each with its own bathroom, with an accommodation capacity of 10-12 people, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, rooms for activities, a cloakroom with hydromassage system and LED lighting and a covered terrace, place of cauldron and grill.
We also have a generous yard with a small pond, a stream of water flows in front of the property, and in the back we are guarded by a beech forest. It's the ideal place to relax after everyday stress, the place where you can listen to how peace drips into your soul.
Tourist attractions can be visited in the area, such as: the natural area "Grădina Zmeilor" (20 kilometers, 25 minutes by car); Jibou Botanical Garden (21.5 kilometers, 30 minutes by car); the "Gresiile de la Cliţ" natural area (20 kilometers, 25 minutes by car); The Roman fort from Porolissum (37 kilometers, 45 minutes by car); The house of the miller in Răstoci (33 kilometers, 40 minutes by car) – the only house with a thatched roof declared as a historical monument.
