Description
Boarder's Cottage is a modern rustic newly refurbished mountain chalet, for which we used wood and stone exclusively from our area.
We are located in a very quiet mountain area, at 950 m altitude, very close to the forest, trails and slopes, with a spectacular view over Baiului Mountains and with fresh air and beautiful scenery all around.
The cabin is suitable for groups of up to 10 persons and is perfect for active people interested in mountain activities, but also for just relaxing.
The chalet has a big shared living room with extensible sofa, fire place and a big wooden table, a fully equipped kitchen, a reading lounge with a small bookcase and board games, a big open air terrace, barbeque zone, a small garden and an equipment storage room for snowboard or ski gear, with boots dryer.
We also have an open-air wooden hot tub that can be used for a fee. There are free and safe parking facilities on the street.
Fifteen minutes walk downtown, where all the supermarkets and the shopping mall with cinema are, ten to fifteen minutes walk to the gondola and also to the Peles Castle.
The hosts are available for organizing snowboard & mountain bike learn to ride lessons and amazing tours in the neighboring Bucegi and Baiului Mountains, for intermediate and advanced riders, guided by certified local mountain guides and sports instructors.
The space
The house with central gas heating has a big living room, a kitchen, four cozy bedrooms, one with private bathroom and three others with access at two shared bathrooms. We also have a small and cozy reading lounge.
Extensible sofa in the big shared living room and also an extensible sofa in one of the bedrooms. The house is equipped with: gas stove, electric oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, espresso machine, coffee maker, juice squeezer, blender, kettle, toaster, 2 refrigerators, hair dryers in each bathroom, smart TV, cable, FREE high speed WI-FI.
There are also two open-air terraces available outside the building.
The bedrooms
- Bedroom one: two single bunk beds, balcony with view to the mountains.
- Bedroom two: one double bunk bed and one extensible sofa, balcony with view to the mountains.
- Bedroom three: one queen size bed, view to the mountains
- Bedroom four: one queen size bed and private bathroom, view to the courtyard.
- At check in there will be requested a 200 RON cleaning fee deposit that will be returned at check out, if the recycling garbage (plastic, metal, glass, paper) altogether are separately stored from the organic garbage, into the designated containers and if the kitchen equipment is clean.
Considering the wood construction of the house, smoking is not allowed on the whole property, including the outside terrace areas.
